★★★★★
English Sprouts Parent
Parent of a 3½-Year-Old Learner · Learning with Bright Horizon for 18 months
Bright Horizon was the first school willing to adapt to his needs.
"Before finding Bright Horizon, every school we contacted told us our son was simply too young to start learning English. We knew he loved English and wanted to encourage that interest, but we struggled to find a programme that suited his age. Bright Horizon was the first school willing to adapt to his needs with short, personalised lessons. They offered us 15-minute lessons for short, regular exposure, and used his interests like toy cars and Ultraman to make it exciting and fun. He genuinely enjoys every class, and we love that the lesson materials are shared afterwards so we can keep practising together at home."

Cambridge YLE Parent
Parent of a YLE Student · Learning with Bright Horizon for 14 months
They focus on helping children communicate, not just remember vocabulary.
"One of the things I appreciate most about Bright Horizon is that they focus on helping children communicate, not just remember vocabulary. The lessons are engaging and interactive, with lots of discussion and role-plays — it's a great way to expand on our offline classes. We've seen a huge improvement in our child's confidence speaking English. We were worried immersive English lessons would be too hard to understand, but our child now uses English much more confidently."

Cambridge KET Parent
Parent of a KET Student · Learning with Bright Horizon for 1 year
All I hear is laughing from the other room.
"What stands out most is how flexible and personalised the lessons are. Our child is always excited for class, and we've noticed a huge difference in both confidence and speaking ability. All I hear is laughing from the other room. As well as building an exam preparation plan and helping our child feel prepared and confident for the KET, there have even been times when lessons were adapted to help prepare for school performances and important exams, which we really appreciated. That personal approach has made all the difference."

2. Eligibility and parent / guardian responsibility
Students may be children, teenagers or adults.
Where a student is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for:
Booking lessons
Making payments
Communicating with Bright Horizon Online
Ensuring the student attends lessons on time
Providing accurate student information
Supporting the student's participation where appropriate
Reviewing lesson updates, notices and policy information
By enrolling a child student, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian, or that you have authority to act on behalf of the student.
3. Trial lessons
Bright Horizon Online may offer trial lessons to help assess a student's level, learning needs, personality, goals and teacher suitability.
Trial lessons are subject to teacher availability and may be free or paid, depending on the offer available at the time.
A trial lesson does not guarantee a specific teacher, timetable or future lesson slot unless this is confirmed by Bright Horizon Online.
4. Lesson packages and enrolment
Lessons may be purchased as individual lessons, lesson packages, promotional packages or agreed course plans.
Before payment, the lesson package or course arrangement should be confirmed, including where applicable:
Total number of lesson hours
Lesson length
Lesson frequency
Price
Teacher or teacher options
Course type
Validity period or completion period
Any promotional or special conditions
Once a lesson package has been confirmed and payment has been made, the package will be managed according to these Terms and Conditions and any written package conditions agreed at the time of purchase.
5. Payments
Payment must be made before lessons begin, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Bright Horizon Online.
We may accept payments through bank transfer, online payment links, payment platforms or other approved payment methods.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. These providers may apply their own processing rules, exchange rates, transaction fees or security checks.
Bright Horizon Online is not responsible for additional charges applied by banks, card issuers, currency exchange providers or third-party payment processors.
6. Online lesson delivery
All Bright Horizon Online lessons are delivered online through approved online classroom platforms or communication tools.
This may include platforms such as ClassIn, video conferencing software, learning platforms, messaging tools or other approved systems.
Because our services are delivered online, there is no physical delivery or shipping.
Students are responsible for having a suitable device, stable internet connection, working microphone, working camera where required, and access to the required lesson platform.
7. Scheduling
When a lesson time is confirmed, Bright Horizon Online reserves that time in the teacher's schedule or reserves a student's place in a group class.
Families are expected to attend lessons at the agreed time and to communicate any scheduling needs as early as possible.
We will try to be flexible and supportive when scheduling or rescheduling lessons, but changes depend on teacher availability, timetable capacity and reasonable administrative limits.
8. Attendance, cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to reschedule one or more lessons, Bright Horizon Online will try to accommodate the request where possible.
However, families are asked to respect the reserved lesson times in the teacher's schedule and to understand that repeated changes create additional administrative work and may affect teacher availability.
Bright Horizon Online allows one cancellation per month, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a student will be unavailable for multiple consecutive lessons, such as during travel or school holidays, please discuss this with Bright Horizon Online in advance. In most cases, lessons can be adjusted or rearranged where reasonable notice is given and teacher availability allows.
Additional cancellations, repeated cancellations or missed lessons that cannot reasonably be rescheduled may be treated as completed lessons and deducted from the student's lesson balance.
9. Notice period for cancellations
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a lesson.
If no notice is given, or if notice is given less than 2 hours before the lesson start time, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and charged as a completed lesson.
This also applies where a student is unable to attend because of student-side technical issues, including internet problems, device problems, platform access issues or other technical difficulties outside Bright Horizon Online's control.
To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please contact Bright Horizon Online by email or through your usual customer service contact.
10. No-shows
A no-show occurs when a student does not attend a scheduled lesson and appropriate notice has not been provided.
No-shows will be charged as completed lessons and deducted from the student's lesson balance.
If a student joins very late and there is not enough time to complete the lesson meaningfully, Bright Horizon Online may still treat the lesson as completed.
11. Late arrival
If a student is late for any reason, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
The full lesson fee will still be charged.
Teachers are not required to extend the lesson beyond the scheduled end time when a student arrives late.
12. Bright Horizon Online cancellations
If Bright Horizon Online needs to cancel a lesson due to teacher illness, emergency, timetable changes, platform issues or other operational reasons, we will provide as much notice as possible.
In this situation, the lesson will not be deducted from the student's lesson balance.
Where appropriate, Bright Horizon Online may offer one of the following options:
Reschedule the lesson
Arrange a suitable replacement teacher
Cancel the lesson without charge
13. Public holidays
Bright Horizon Online works with families and teachers in different countries, and public holidays vary by location.
Lessons do not automatically pause on public holidays because many students and teachers prefer to continue with their regular schedule.
If a lesson falls on a public holiday in the student's country or region, the family may request to cancel or reschedule the lesson. These cancellations will not count toward the usual monthly cancellation allowance, provided reasonable advance notice is given.
If a teacher is unavailable due to a public holiday in the teacher's country or region, Bright Horizon Online will provide advance notice where possible and may offer one of the following options:
Reschedule the lesson
Cancel the lesson without charge
Arrange a suitable replacement teacher
14. Teacher availability and substitutions
Bright Horizon Online aims to provide consistency wherever possible, especially for ongoing students.
However, we cannot guarantee permanent availability of any specific teacher.
Teachers may become unavailable due to illness, timetable changes, leave, emergencies, resignation, changes in workload or other circumstances.
Where a regular teacher is unavailable, Bright Horizon Online may offer a suitable replacement teacher or alternative lesson time.
A teacher change does not automatically entitle the student to a refund, provided Bright Horizon Online continues to offer suitable lesson arrangements.
15. Lesson materials and learning resources
Bright Horizon Online may provide lesson slides, worksheets, homework, digital resources, reports, feedback or other learning materials.
These materials are provided for the student's personal learning use only.
You may not copy, sell, publish, distribute, upload, share publicly or commercially use Bright Horizon Online materials without written permission.
All course materials, lesson resources, website content, branding, designs and educational materials remain the property of Bright Horizon Online or the relevant rights holder.
16. Lesson recordings, screenshots and student work
Where lesson recordings, screenshots, written work, homework, assessments or student content are used, they will be handled responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Student content may be used internally for teaching, feedback, progress tracking, teacher support, quality control or learning support.
Bright Horizon Online will not publicly share identifiable student names, images, recordings, written work, testimonials or learning content for marketing purposes without appropriate parent, guardian or student permission.
17. Learning progress and outcomes
Bright Horizon Online is committed to providing high-quality lessons, personalised learning support and clear feedback.
However, language learning progress depends on many factors, including:
Student age
Starting level
Lesson frequency
Attendance
Participation
Practice outside class
Confidence
Learning goals
Family support
Time available for study
For this reason, Bright Horizon Online cannot guarantee a specific level of progress, exam result, certificate, score, fluency level or outcome within a fixed period of time.
18. Package validity, pauses and transfers
Lesson packages should be used according to the agreed lesson plan, package terms or promotional conditions confirmed at the time of purchase.
Some standard packages may allow flexible scheduling, while promotional, seasonal or discounted packages may have fixed completion periods or special conditions.
For larger lesson packages, Bright Horizon Online may, in special circumstances, allow remaining lessons to be paused or transferred to another student, subject to approval.
Pauses, transfers and extensions are not automatic and must be agreed by Bright Horizon Online in writing.
Free bonus lessons, promotional lessons or special offer hours have no cash value and may be subject to separate conditions.
19. Refund policy
Once lessons have begun, Bright Horizon Online will first work with the family to resolve the matter before any refund is issued.
Where a student is unable to continue for a reasonable reason, we will first try to find a suitable alternative, such as correcting any issue with the lessons, moving the student to another teacher, rescheduling, transferring the remaining lessons to another student, or placing the remaining lesson balance on hold as credit.
Where none of these alternatives is suitable and a reasonable reason has been provided, Bright Horizon Online will refund the unused remaining lesson hours, calculated as set out below.
Where a refund is due, the lessons already used will be recalculated at the package rate that matches the number of lessons actually used, rather than the rate of the original package purchased. This means that a student who used fewer hours than their original package will have their used hours charged at the rate of the smaller package their usage actually qualifies for.
For example, on a 40-hour package:
If 20 or more hours have been used (but fewer than 40), the used hours are charged at the 20-hour package rate.
If 10 or more hours have been used (but fewer than 20), the used hours are charged at the 10-hour package rate.
If fewer than 10 hours have been used, the used hours are charged at the standard full hourly rate.
The remaining balance, if any, will then be refunded.
The refund calculation will never result in a negative balance. If the recalculated value of the lessons already used is equal to or more than the total amount paid, no refund will be due, and the student will not be asked to pay anything further.
The following are not refundable:
Completed lessons
Missed lessons charged under the attendance policy
No-show lessons
Lessons cancelled with insufficient notice
Expired lesson hours
Free bonus lessons
Promotional or complimentary lesson hours
Payment processing fees
Bank charges
Currency exchange losses or fees
Refunds may take time to process depending on the payment method, bank, payment provider or currency involved.
20. Promotions, discounts and bonus lessons
Bright Horizon Online may offer discounts, seasonal packages, trial offers, referral offers or bonus lessons from time to time.
Promotions are temporary and may be changed, extended or withdrawn at any time.
Promotional offers cannot be combined unless Bright Horizon Online confirms this in writing.
Free bonus lessons or complimentary hours have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
If a refund is approved on a discounted or promotional package, bonus lessons will not be included in the refund calculation.
21. Communication
Bright Horizon Online may communicate with families through email, WeChat, WhatsApp, ClassIn, online learning platforms or other agreed communication channels.
Families are responsible for checking messages and responding to important scheduling, payment or lesson-related communications in a timely manner.
Bright Horizon Online aims to provide a respectful, safe and supportive learning environment for students, families and teachers.
Students and parents are expected to communicate respectfully with teachers and Bright Horizon Online team members.
Bright Horizon Online may pause or end services if there is abusive behaviour, harassment, inappropriate conduct, repeated disruption, misuse of lesson platforms or behaviour that creates an unsafe or unsuitable learning environment.
23. Privacy and data protection
Bright Horizon Online collects and uses personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our website, booking lessons or enrolling in our services, you agree to the collection and use of personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy for details about how we collect, use, protect and share personal information.
24. Third-party platforms
Bright Horizon Online may use third-party platforms for online lessons, scheduling, communication, payment processing, learning materials or website services.
We are not responsible for outages, technical problems, policy changes, access restrictions or service interruptions caused by third-party platforms.
Where possible, we will try to assist families in resolving access or platform issues, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party systems.
25. Limitation of liability

Loss of learning time caused by student absence
Internet or device problems
Third-party platform failure

We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to students and families.
